Millwood Wine Works is owned and operated by Kevin Whitaker and his
mom Lori. We are 2nd and 3rd generation Whitaker's from East York.
Our initial association with the store is interesting and goes back many years. It all started about 15 years ago with Kevin's grandparents making their wine with the previous owner. Followed by Lori making wine at the recommendation of her parents.
After seeing an advertisement for
part time work, Kevin gained employment during his high school and
college years, learning the process and operations of the wine making
business in great detail. When the original owner wanted to retire,
she offered the business to Kevin in January 2004 and in March 2007,
Lori joined the store.
With a strong foundation we look forward to growing the business by offering outstanding wine selections and excellent customer service. |
